Editorial Policy

Our goal is simple: help you make good decisions about your trip with information you can trust.

How a guide is made

  1. Start from a real question. Each guide answers a specific traveller need, such as getting from the airport to the Old Quarter.
  2. Plan our own structure. We outline the guide around what you need to decide, not around another site’s article.
  3. Research the facts. We prefer official and primary sources: government portals, operators and venues. Community discussions help us find questions people ask; we do not treat them as facts.
  4. Verify what changes. Prices, opening hours, routes and rules are checked against their sources and given a verification date and a review date.
  5. Review and approve. A person reviews every article for accuracy, usefulness and originality before it is published.
  6. Keep it current. When a review date passes, we re-check the facts. Outdated pages are updated, marked, or removed.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research and drafting. AI does not decide what is true and does not publish on its own. Every article is fact-checked and approved by our editor, and every specific figure must trace back to a source.

What we will never publish

  • Fake reviews, ratings, testimonials or invented personal experiences.
  • Prices, opening hours, phone numbers, addresses or legal requirements we could not verify presented as fact.
  • Text or photos copied from other publishers without permission.

Verification labels

  • Verified [date]: checked against the listed source on that date.
  • Needs re-check: the review date has passed; treat with caution.
  • Unknown: we could not confirm this; we say so rather than guess.

Independence

We have no commercial relationships today. If we add affiliate links, advertising or partnerships later, they will be clearly labelled and will never decide what we recommend. See our future disclosures on this page.

Corrections
